Human Pheromones
SCENT OF EROS FRAGRANCES

(Updated 10/04/2005)

The Scent of Eros Fragrance Products incorporate James Vaughn Kohl's conceptualization of communication through human pheromones, as presented in his book, and in his research journal publications. Each product comes with a money back guarantee; each product enhances your natural appeal.

Unlike many other pheromone-enhanced fragrances, Scent of Eros for men does not contain androste
none, because androstenone has repeatedly been shown to have an unpleasant (urinous) scent--typically described as "smelling like a pig." If you learn anything about pheromones, you'll understand why using androstenone in a fragrance product is not a good idea. Instead, Kohl incorporates androsterone (from the rapidly changing adrenal hormone response) and androstenol, which has been linked through human studies to positive changes in women's hormones and in women's mood. Androstenol and androsterone give men more natural and pleasant masculine appeal. Both androstenol and androsterone are very pleasant musky scents. Scent of Eros for men has been the topic of several ongoing discussions in The Pheromone Forum at Love Scent.com. Search the Pheromone Forum for Scent of Eros or SOE and you will find information from people who have used this phenomenally successful product. It is available in an oil based roll-on applicator, or as individual trial sizes in a gel-pack. Unsolicited product testimonials/commentary are available with information on other comparable products here:

Due to customer interest in an unscented product (one that can be used very discreetly) unscented Scent of Eros is now available without any fragrance added. This product contains androste
nol and androsterone, and it has been an instant success; it is evident that many people now know that pheromones work, whether or not you can smell them. Androstenol has positive effects on hormone levels and on mood in women. Androsterone adds an extra masculine component to the unscented blend for a positive effect on women, whether or not she wears it, or her potential partner wears it.. Unscented Scent of Eros is also available in a gel-pack.

Scent of Eros for women incorporates research that shows increased production of male hormones in men who are briefly exposed to the active ingredients in this product. The hormone increase in men is linked to "getting a man's attention." The overall fragrance mimics the naturally appealing scent of a 17-24 year-old fertile woman. (Women smell best when they are most fertile.)  In addition, the musky: androstenol (another active ingredient) has been shown to positively influence hormone levels and mood in women. Accordingly, a woman who wears Scent of Eros is likely to feel better about herself as well as to enhance her feminine scent appeal. Scent of Eros for women is also available in a gel-pack.

CAUTION
There are many fragrances that could contain either animal or putative human pheromones. Advertising for these "pheromone-containing" fragrances (or fragrance additives) typically contains "wild" claims. Kohl is often asked which one works, or works BEST. His response: "there is no scientific data that supports the claim that any "pheromone-containing" fragrance or fragrance additive acts as an aphrodisiac. Even the "scientific" studies funded by Winnifred Cutler's Athena Institute in an effort to support product claims, have repeatedly been refuted (e.g., see links from the Scientific Evidence page of this site). The best anyone can expect is that wearing a pheromone-enhanced fragrance will enhance their natural appeal, or provide a boost to the wearer's social status--as perceived (albeit unconsciouly) by peers. This type of boost can be very beneficial during social interaction. Did you ever wonder why some men and women just naturally seem to attract everyone around them? It's either their natural scent or their pheromone-enhanced scent. There is a very informative source that consistently offers reliable information on pheromone products, and how they can enhance your masculine or feminine appeal. Sign up for the Pheromone News which contains information about pheromone products and their subtle, but remarkable, effects on behavior. Spend some time on this site and you will find out for yourself why products developed by James Vaughn Kohl receive so many testimonials. Or, simply compare Kohl's published works to works (if any) by other people who are marketing pheromone products. You should be concerned when advertisements fail to disclose the active ingredients, or when they mention research on the VNO in an attempt to validate their marketing claims. The human VNO is not required for pheromones to elicit their effects, and failure to disclose active ingredients wreaks of "snake oil" marketing scams. For example, during the Montel Williams television show that aired on November 16, 1993,  Winnifred Cutler said, "Well, I can't tell you the exact secret formula. But I can tell you it contains human pheromones, DHEA. And they're dissolved in an alcohol, a standard cosmetic alcohol, SD40. During her appearance on the Sally Jessy Raphael television show that aired on February 2, 1994, Cutler claimed that "There's a patent pending for it." She has since continued to claim that the patent process prevents her from disclosing her product ingredients. The full text of her 1992 patent is available HERE. What is she trying to hide?
